Crusher Warehouse Technician Golden Queen Mining Company, LLC (the Company) is operating a gold and silver, open pit, heap leach operation on its Soledad Mountain property, located just outside the town of Mojave in Kern County in southern California.
The Project uses conventional open pit mining methods and the cyanide heap leach and Merrill-Crowe processes to recover gold and silver from crushed, agglomerated ore.
The Company is seeking a Crusher Warehouse Technician for its Soledad Mountain Project (the Project) in Mojave.
Reporting to the Purchasing Coordinator, the Crusher Warehouse Technician will be primarily responsible for general administration and maintenance of the crusher warehouse, to include receiving, storing and issuing equipment, material, tools, supplies, and other items, as well as maintaining inventory records.
This is a safety sensitive position.
Responsibilities Performs all work duties in a safe manner, and in accordance with Federal, State, and local laws and regulations, and with existing company policy Performs daily workplace inspections and walk around Forklift Operation Maintains Inventory Issues parts/materials Performs cycle counts as required Assists with reorders, quotes, and purchase orders Housekeeping:
Ensures all inventory areas are clean and organized daily Performs other assigned work as needed Requirements:
Requirements Ability to work in surroundings that include heat, cold, wet, or dry conditions, as well as heights and in confined spaces.
Must be able to walk long distances, climb ladders, stairs, and stockpiles, stoop, and crawl under and into enclosed spaces.
Ability to work well with others Self-starter with the ability to drive projects forward Self-motivated needing minimal direction Effective oral and written communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills Strong computer skills, and solid experience with Microsoft Office Suite a must Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP a plus Strong inventory control background, and good understanding of inventory workflow through the Accounts Payables and Accounting processes Driver's license is required High School Diploma or GED Notice to recruitment and/or staffing firms:
